Tier 7 Premium Russian Tank Destroyer
Hey tankers, today i will be reviewing the SU-122-44 Russian tank destroyer.
This review will be a bit more in-depth for this tank (Over the SU-100Y)
First lets talk about the armour, this armour is strange in such as it is very well angled and not half bad thickness (Not great). Don't expect to be bouncing shots from anything too soon. You may get a few lucky bounces here and there but definitely don't rely on it.
The next part to this tank is the engine, keeping it short - its quite fast and maneuverable, that being said it has a horrible speed when backing up.
The gun depression is well....Russian and obviously not very good.
The accuracy is better than most Russian TD's but still make sure to aim before shooting.
On the topic of the gun though, its a monster. I may even say OP but don't want it nerfed. with a 6 second reload (With a Gun Rammer) it can tear up an opponent quickly. I have found this tank does 270-400ish damage.
It is a GREAT sniping tool as well.

I'd say the SU-122-44 is great for bullying tier 5-6 as it has eff armor of 175mm thick! However the rest of your guide is accurate and a good read :)

-Rng can troll you for sniping , D-25Ts and its deriatives have that crappy accuracy
- 390 damage is not bad.
- Armor can sustain a few bounces even from some t9s. Dont rely on it , the only real armor is the ball-shaped mantlet.
- Its a sneaky little bugger like most Russian TDs. Strap a camo net on it and a camo crew. Abuse the 15m bush thing too.
- Its agile. Turning is a staggering 42deg/s. This allows it to outturn some damn LTs/Meds doing the circle of death. Also useful for peeakboos ( You can go out , turn the tank , bam , then get back)
Reverse speed is meh , thats usually poor anyway.
- 6s reload is devestating. Damage of gun ranges from 293-488. Any guy with his side armor in your sights is going to have a bad day.
Equipment i would recommend : Rammer(Make that reload faster!), GLD(Aim that gun faster!) and Camo net.
Tactics: Either go aggresive in tier 7 matches , or camp like the usual russian TD.
Ps FTG airborne here.
PS: Gun depression is not good not only because its a Russian , but also due to the fact it doesnt have a turret.
